From Glacier National Park's rapidly disappearing glaciers to larger outbreaks of bark beetles in our forests and warmer water temperatures in our trout streams, the effects of a changing climate can be seen all around us.
But how is climate change affecting Montana's agricultural sector, our forests and economy, and what kind of impacts is it having on fishermen, hunters, wildlife species, and skiiers and snowmobilers?
We're focusing on those important questions here, through photographs, news articles, and perspectives provided by Montana's citizens, and research by scientists in the region.
In this way, we're trying to reach a better understanding of how recent changes in our climate have affected Montanans' livelihoods and way of life.
As with other pages, we've added a list of links to other websites and information sources on each page to allow you to search for more information about the subjects you care about most.
